Garganey and Aleutian Green Winged Teal flying together These two birds were the highlight of the evening. Also at the lagoon was 33 Sanderlings, 3 Western Sandpipers, 3 Sharp Tailed Sandpipers and 2 Pectoral Sandpipers.

Here is the bird if the day. Just proves that some of the best birds on Adak are pure chance and you should always be ready to bird. That is why I try to always take my binoculars and camera with me everytime I leave the house.
